An Integrative Approach to Mental Health Treatment

Chris Klebieko APRN, DNP-PMHNP

Immediate openings in Washington, Nevada, Arizona and New Hampshire for virtual appointments.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with five years of nursing experience and three years dedicated to treating mental health disorders. I specialize in working with adults (18+) navigating OCD, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is integrative—blending nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, psychotherapy, and medication management into a personalized plan that reflects your unique needs and goals. I follow a one-client-per-hour model to ensure you always have the time and space needed to fully explore your concerns without feeling rushed.

In every session, I combine medication management with therapeutic work as we collaboratively address the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns influencing your wellbeing. I approach each meeting with compassion, openness, and curiosity. Together, we’ll examine what drives your anxiety, explore mood patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, and work to shift self-defeating or addictive behaviors. We set clear goals early on and check in regularly to celebrate your progress and adjust your path as needed.

My Philosophy

My Approach

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe that true healing happens when we treat the whole person—not just the symptoms. My philosophy is rooted in an integrative approach that honors the connection between the mind, body, and daily lifestyle.

During each session, we look closely at the foundations of wellbeing: nutrition, exercise, and sleep, alongside the emotional and psychological factors shaping your life. By understanding how these elements interact, we can uncover the deeper patterns influencing your mental health.

I combine therapy, medication management, and mindfulness practices to create a comprehensive plan tailored to your unique needs. Every session includes therapeutic conversation, practical skills, and thoughtful guidance designed to move you toward resilience, clarity, and meaningful change.

My goal is to empower you with the tools, insight, and support you need to feel better—mentally, emotionally, and physically—so you can live a life aligned with your values and full of possibility.

I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and supportive therapy to help you understand and change the patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we identify the thought processes, emotional triggers, and behavioral habits that activate your sympathetic nervous system and contribute to stress, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed.

Our work also focuses on clarifying your core values—what truly matters to you—so that your decisions, habits, and goals can align with a more meaningful and grounded life. By integrating evidence-based therapy with practical tools for emotional regulation, insight, and daily resilience, we create a path toward healthier patterns and lasting change.
